UKAD is pleased to announce that registration for the third annual Clean Sport at the Front Line (CS@FL) forum is now open. You can register for the Forum here and check out the agenda below.
Over the past three years, CS@FL has become the must-attend event for athlete support personnel, practitioners, and those working in sport with an interest or involvement in clean sport and anti-doping.
This year’s event will once again focus on evidence-based practice and how best to support and protect practitioners, as well as the role of athlete support personnel in protecting athletes. For those involved in athlete support, sports research, National Governing Bodies (NGBs), or university programmes with a commitment to clean sport, this is an event you will want to add to your calendars!
This year’s agenda will include keynote sessions exploring how the role of athlete support personnel has changed over the last 10 years, and what changes may be coming over the horizon. It will also take a look into the athlete and athlete support personnel relationship through a clean sport lens and explore changes to the new World Anti-Doping Code, due to be introduced in January 2021.
Wider breakout sessions will include what the new International Standard for Education means for athlete support personnel, as well as sessions delivered by leading academics, on Multi-Disciplinary Team approaches to clean sport and the creation of a 10-year research agenda for Clean Sport Education.
The event will again be chaired by leading academic Professor Sue Backhouse of Leeds Beckett University. Confirmed speakers include Professor Ian Boardley of the University of Birmingham, UKAD’s recently appointed Head of Education Paul Moss, as well as representatives from leading organisations, including BASES, BASEM, UK Coaching, and EIS.
