BASES sponsor Clean Sport Connect Science and Medicine webinar

Autumn 2022 will see a series of webinars hosted by UK Anti-Doping (UKAD) take place, focusing on key topics within clean sport.

UKAD is pleased to announce that the British Association of Sport and Exercise Sciences (BASES) is sponsoring the Clean Sport Connect Science and Medicine webinar.

Held on Wednesday 12 October at 13:00 this webinar will explore the 2023 World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) Prohibited List.

Presenters include Dr Irene Mazzoni WADA Associate Director of the Prohibited List/Science and Medicine, Ellen Gregson UKAD Science Manager, and Dr Alexis Mauger, Exercise Physiologist currently lecturing at the University of Kent. BASES is the professional body for sport and exercise sciences in the UK and aims to promote excellence in these fields. It currently has over 2,600 members who range from students undertaking undergraduate and post-graduate courses to accredited practitioners, including Athlete Support Personnel (ASP). Dr Ibrahim Akubat,  BASES Division Chair will be introducing the webinar and facilitating the Q&A during the event.
