UKAD issues statement on UCI Chris Froome investigation
UK Anti-Doping (UKAD) had been made aware of the investigation by cycling’s world governing body, UCI, into an Adverse Analytical Finding (AAF) involving British cyclist Chris Froome, following a urine test during the recent Vuelta a Espana.
A UKAD spokesperson said: “This is a case for the UCI and we cannot comment on any ongoing cases.
“We work closely with our international federation partners and where cases involve British athletes we will liaise with them as appropriate.”
