UKAD Athlete Commission members take on the powder-free protein pancake challenge
It’s Pancake Day! And even elite athletes love pancakes. So, to share some great, athlete-friendly recipes, we’ve enlisted the help of our Athlete Commission members.
We set them a challenge of creating their own tasty protein pancakes – flip compulsory, of course – but with one condition: The pancakes must be 100% natural.
UK Anti-Doping always promotes a food-first approach to nutrition, due to the risk that a supplement may contain a prohibited substance. You can read all UKAD’s advice on supplements here.
Here are two powder-free protein pancake recipes for you to try at home, supplied by Emma Wiggs and Sarah Winckless, and don’t forget to head over to our social channels to see the videos of their handiwork.
