UKAD is delivering 'Win Clean' for the second consecutive year

From 28 to 30 June, UK Anti-Doping (UKAD) will deliver its ‘Win Clean’ anti-doping education programme at the 2017 Henley Royal Regatta.

Win Clean was developed for major event organisers hosting international events in the UK and is specifically aimed at international athletes; informing and educating them on their anti-doping responsibilities whilst they stay, train and compete in the UK.

This year’s Regatta will mark UKAD’s second successive year of delivery to around 160 competitors taking part in over 200 international races.

UKAD will be on hand, in the athlete area, to provide athletes, support personnel and spectators with essential anti-doping information, support and advice which can be used throughout their stay in the UK.

UKAD’s Director of Operations, Pat Myhill said:

“We are delighted to once again be playing an important role at the Henley Royal Regatta, which is recognised as an historic event in the UK and arguably the best-known regatta in the world.

“The Regatta provides us with an excellent opportunity to share best practice and show the international sporting community that a robust anti-doping education programme is in place in the UK.”
