As an athlete you must know the risk with taking supplements.
It is vital you consider this message if you are using, or contemplating using, nutritional supplements. No one can guarantee that supplements are free from prohibited substances, and you may accidentally commit an Anti-Doping Rule Violation by taking them.

There are no guarantees that any supplement product is free from prohibited substances.
Remember that one of the defined athlete responsibilities is that you MUST undertake thorough internet research of any supplement products before use – including the name of the product and the ingredients/substances listed. Information revealed as a result should be further investigated and we advise athletes to keep evidence of their research.
Even carelessness can get you a four-year ban.
Be wary of ordering supplements over the internet. These may present even greater risks as you can’t be sure where they come from.
